Södra Vi
Ten kilometres north of Vimmerby, Södra Vi is an old spa dating from 1759 with a fine park, local folk and agricultural museums.
Since 1991 excavations have been made on Krönsborg, the remains of an ancient fort dating from the 14th century. Krönsborg is an ancient castle from the 14th century and you can still see the foundations of the tower and about 10 other houses. A 200 metre pile bridge connected Krönsborg with the mainland.
