Djursdala
The unique wooden church at Djursdala from 1692 is one of Sweden's finest and is situated high above lake Juttern in a conservation area of singular beauty. "Änglamarken", a ridge south of the community centre is adorned during the spring and early summer by a great variety of primarily pasque flowers.
In Djursdala village, old traditions are preserved and since the 1600s a village meeting is held every year. Not far from Djursdala is Stenrike, a very impressive area of land that has been cultivated. A man who all by himself spent many years of his life removing the stones from an area of land about the size of two acres. A great stone wall deep in the woods is also part of the result of his efforts.
