Katthult's real name is Gibberyd and is about 25 km from Vimmerby in the village called Rumskulla. Here you can see everything you loved in the Emil films.
Katthultsboden is where you will find both "bysse" och "mysse" (special slang words in Swedish, they mean gun and hat) along with T-shirts, ceramics, handicrafts. Ice-cream and refreshments are for sale.

Alles wie im Film! Man sollte die Zeit nutzen und einen kleinen Spaziergang über das Gatter hinaus unternehmen! Man ist dort so ziemlich ganz alleine unterwegs und kann die Gegend sehr gut genießen!

Ärligt talat, det godaste jag någonsin ätit! Väldigt snabb och trevlig service, man blev ju bara tvungen att lämna över lite pengar i dricks.
